Mini Alphabet Baby Blocks
A smaller twist on the classic Wild North big block sets: these mini sets include seven wood blocks made out of sustainably harvested Alaskan spruce and birch trees. Each block is coated with a child-safe and scratch resistant clear coating which preserves the blocks for many years to come!
Blocks are about 1.5” squares. Letters A-Z included, plus duplicate commonly used letters. three color choices: natural, honey (medium brown), and barn red. The natural color choice is a Wild North favorite because it shows off the each block's uniqueness in the wood grain. Some of the spruce blocks have natural blue tones weaved into it. This natural colored phenomenon comes from the spruce beetles that lived inside of the bark before the tree turned into standing dead timber. These trees need to be cut down because they turn into matchsticks for deadly wildfires to spread. That's where Wild North comes in to harvest the trees to create a safer environment in the forest while allowing new spruce to grow!
These blocks help build fine motor skills for children 8+ months and spelling skills for toddlers.
