Sourdough Dinner Rolls

These little rolls are perfect for small sandwiches or sliders, or just eating plain!
Sourdough Dinner Rolls
6 Servings 25 mins Cook 180 mins Prep
INGREDIENTS
7 oz sourdough starter
6.5 oz water
13 oz flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 T butter, melted
1 egg
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix starter and water
Stir in flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder
Once combined, knead until smooth
Allow to rise for 2-3 hrs in a warm location
On an oiled surface, roll dough into equal portions
Allow to rise, covered for 30-60 mins
Preheat oven to 450F
In a small bowl, mix butter and egg
Dip each roll into egg mixture, covering completely, then place in a Dutch oven lined w/ partchment paper or cornmeal
Cover Dutch oven, and bake for 20 mins
When finished, remove from oven but leave covered for 5-10 additional mins
Allow to cool, Enjoy!
NOTES
Butter/Egg mixture is very difficult to remove once baked onto dishes!
