Sourdough Molasses Cookies

These are a great little snack without too much sugar!

Sourdough Molasses Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1/4 C butter
1/4 C sugar
1/4 C oil
2 T molasses
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 C sourdough starter
1 C flour
1 C oatmeal
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS
Soften butter, cream in sugar
Whisk in oil, molasses, egg, and vanilla extract
Add starter, mix until smooth
Mix in remaining dry ingredients
Cover and let rest in warm place for 2-3 hours, or overnight in the fridge
Divide dough into equal portions onto baking sheet (2 dozen small cookies)
Bake @ 350 for 12 - 15 mins
